Ms. Kavendek concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, community association law, and the representation of clients in general business matters. Her experiences includes advising individuals, corporations, small business, public entities, condominium associations, insurance companies, landlords, contractors, and developers. She has handled matters in federal, state, and municipal courts and before the Office of Administrative Law, has represented clients in trials and appellate proceedings, and has petitioned the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Ms. Kavendek has considerable experience in complex trials, alternative dispute resolution, motion practice, and oral advocacy. She takes pride in her practical and efficient approach of issues.
In addition to her practice, Ms. Kavendek serves on the Events Committee of the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute.
She is also published in the Catholic University Law Review analysing the European Union and other international bodies’ treatment of royalties and collectives in the music industry and the effect of international treaties and trade. Author, The Positive and Negative Consequences of the European Union Court of Justice’s Amazon Decision on International Private Copying and America, Catholic University Law Review, Vol. 63, Issue 3, Spring 2014.
While in law school, Ms. Kavendek competed in the National Baseball Arbitration Competition as a founding member of the Moot Court Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution section. She also received a Faculty Merit Scholarship and Alumnus First Year Recognition Award.
Ms. Kavendek is a recipient of the Gold Congressional Award.
