Carla Zappi, Esq. is an associate with the law firm of Cutolo Barros LLC and concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and community association law. Carla served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John L. Call, Jr., P.J.F.P. and the Honorable John Tomasello, J.S.C., Ret./Rec., in Burlington County, New Jersey during the 2015-2016 term. Carla’s law firm experience prior to joining Cutolo Barros includes practicing municipal law, land use, and general litigation.

Carla received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers College where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics, and obtained her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law. While in law school, Carla also served as a Staff Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy. She also participated as a student attorney with the Rutgers Immigrant Justice Clinic where she provided legal counseling to indigent clients in the community.  Upon graduation, Carla received the school’s Pro Bono Publico Award for Significant Service as well as the 2015 Horace Wu and Kate King Pro Bono Award.
