​Jennifer M. Kurtz, Esq. is an associate with the firm. She earned a B.A. in Government from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, where she was a member of the moot court board and an articles editor for the Public Contract Law Journal.

Following law school, Ms. Kurtz began her legal career as a litigation attorney with the Washington, DC office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, & Flom, LLP, working primarily on government investigations and white collar defense. Ms. Kurtz then returned to New Jersey and established The Law Office of Jennifer M. Kurtz, where she focused on debtor-creditor matters, including Fair Debt Collection Practices Act litigation and consumer bankruptcy, as well as estate planning and residential real estate transactions.  

Ms. Kurtz is also an experienced appellate attorney, practicing before the Appellate Division for nearly a decade as Designated Counsel for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, and representing private clients in appeals as an associate with the law firm of Wisniewski and Associates, LLC, where she focused primarily on litigation, including the defense of public entities, business and employment litigation.
